Little Monsters in the class
As a language teacher, I am always trying to get kids to talk. We also want to give them something to talk about. So in my 6th grade class, I give them all little monster sock puppets. Each is equipped with a full name, country, and a mini bio of likes and dislikes. This is fun for all but it is also a useful tool for instant conversation!
