I've been an educator for more than 30 years. I taught middle school Spanish in NYC in a very progressive independent school as well as  public school. I have always enjoyed using puppets in my classes but it wasn't until I wanted to introduce my students to indigenous tales and stories about South America, did I realize I needed to make my own puppets. That problem turned out to be a godsend for me because now  I look forward to presenting puppet shows using sock puppets, carved clay or wooden rod puppets, and muppet-style puppets!  I also enjoy doing puppet-making workshops with people of all ages!
