More on the Horseshoe Crab!

This past summer, working with my favorite summer camp @TurtlebackFarms in Cutchogue, Long Island, children were learning about the sea animals of the North Fork. Since reading the book, Bloodtide: A New Holiday in Homage to Horseshoe Crabs by Eli Nixon, I have a new appreciation to all the amazing ways the horseshoe crab helps us and how there numbers are dwindling. My goal this time was let's make them more beautiful by making 30 papermache and cardboard models and

having kids paint them!
