Piping Plover Chicks

Again, I have been inspired by Jennifer Murray, whose Instagram account , Turtleback Env Ed Center, I began to follow quite some time ago. Her posts are always so interesting and informative. I have begun plans to team up and work with her using puppetry with her environmental education kid camps. She recently asked me about making plovers!! I was thrilled to take a shot at it! I used foam and felted the rest! Wired legs and feet... but the best part was I used part of a magnolia pod as it's beak. Now, I just want to make more!!
