Connecting Summer fun with puppets and learning!

This summer, I was fortunate to connect to a camp that focuses on learning about animals and trees around them in a real hands-on way! My first experience with them was when I learned from their teacher that they were learning about raptors! I quickly found myself building a baby eaglet puppet to show them. I tried studying all I could about hawks, owls, and eagles so I could challenge them a bit with what they learned. It was great to see the puppets so welcomed. I brought my eaglet and an owl puppet I had. Here are some pics:
