Traveling with Puppets- A visit to Peru

I was fortunate to be awarded a Fulbright-Hayes Travel Grant where I was able to spend one month traveling throughout Peru with 15 other educators from the U.S. While there, I traveled with "Misky" my little llama. It was an incredible experience to see people come up to me to see or pet the little puppet. This puppet is a Folkmanis made puppet. I learned that with the puppet, I could talk to anyone and wasn't just another tourist. I also got to bring back so many pictures and videos for my classes.
